Even after six months at Google, my day-to-day work is still chock full of concepts that I learned at this school.
I'm going into my job confident in the skills that I learned at Skill Distillery, and confident that I now have a solid foundation as a developer

Hi, I'm Bruce.
Here’s the brutal truth about career change:
Nobody will just magically find you and give you a programming job because you learned some basics on your own.
You actually have to stand out... which is hard, because the world is oversaturated with programming job applicants.
And you, as someone with a busy life has less time to learn new skills for a new career...
Some people learn everything they can for free and it's a game of numbers... they think, "If I just learn enough programming languages, then at least one is bound to get me a job."
Some people practice, practice, practice until they become seasoned programmers.
Both strategies can work, but I find that they don't solve the problem of time. There's never enough of it, and it's hard to keep up, let alone get ahead and make a solid living as a programmer...
So what's the alternative?
You need to be more efficient... learn the right skills to get you a job, and that stand out!
And at Skill Distillery we can teach you those skills. From years and years of corporate experience, we know how to get you a job...
Even after six months at Google, my day-to-day work is still chock full of concepts that I learned at this school.
I'm going into my job confident in the skills that I learned at Skill Distillery, and confident that I now have a solid foundation as a developer
